Meet Mrs Mac

Hi there, my name is Rachel (aka Mrs Mac), a busy mum, and self confessed lover of all things Christmas and sewing. I live in NSW on the beautiful Mid North Coast with my family, who all lovingly put up with my year round Christmas carols and sewing room full of Christmas fabric.

Growing up my Santa Sack was a pillow case with a picture of Santa printed on it, and my name written in texter. Basic – yes, but every year I loved getting those pillow cases out, fighting with my siblings about who would get to leave their sack in the prime position (closest to the tree so Santa see’s yours first of course) as part of our Christmas eve ritual.

Fast forward 30 years, and whilst recently sharing Christmas with my parents along with my own children, Mum surprised me with the Santa Sacks I used as a child. The moment I saw those familiar, beloved sacks, a flood of childhood memories came rushing back. And I couldn’t believe my eyes when my then 3 year old started re-organising the layout of everyone’s Santa Sacks (his now in prime position of course).

For a number of years now I’ve poured my heart into making Santa Sacks for those close to me by adjusting and recreating so many designs and patterns. However after my recent Christmas with the grandparents, I have decided to embark on a journey to create similar memories for others by sharing my Santa Sacks.

Today, Mrs. Mac’s Santa Sacks is excited to bring that same magic into your home and hope that a similar family tradition will be cherished for years to come. Each sack is lovingly home-sewn and designed with quality and care, hoping to recreate the same sense of Christmas anticipation and excitement, from my family to yours.
